Building on the success of the TRB Traffic Flow Theory Committee (TFTC) Summer Meeting and Greenshields Symposium held in Woods Hole, MA-USA in July 2008, the TFTC committee summer meeting and conference was held in Annecy, France 7-9 July 2010. The COST action Multitude had is second workshop in the same location, beginning July 6th, 2010.

65 participants from 13 countries attended the conference, with presentations of 37 regular papers and 5 invited papers. A round table was the occasion to share an international comparison of traffic and network simulation practices.

The selection process of eight papers will result in a special issue of Transportation Research part C Data versus models in traffic flow to be published in 2011.
